“Daughter of a Hungarian director based in Paris, Rōzsi Réthy became a famous violinist. She recorded at Pathé” (Colin Affichiste, p. 78).
Delattre, Paris
One of the rarest of all Colin posters, this design for a concert hall (which still exists today) is from the artist’s deepest Art Deco period: he employs angled shapes, prominent letters, and a spare use of color. The reflection of the letters in the polished surface is an inspired touch.
