Etching with engraving, a very good impression, still with clarity of detail in the background, watermark Fleur-de-Lys in a Shield surmounted by a Crown and with pendant initials H H (?) (cf. G.& H. watermarks 31), an area of staining (wax?) on the calf of the figure on the right, a thin spot to the right of the drum, minor surface dirt.

Etching with engraving, with an indistinct oval watermark, a fair but later impression of this very rare print, with 6-8 mm. margins on all sides, a small repaired area on the head of the figure lifting the Cross from behind, a tiny plugged hole at the centre, within Christ's cloak, an 8 mm. tear in the upper margin, some other repaired tears at the upper sheet edge, with the usual vertical central fold, mainly visible on the reverse, generally in good condition.
