Etching, circa 1641. 129x193 mm; 5 1/8x7 5/8 inches, narrow to thread margins. Fourth state (of 6). A very good, richly-inked and luminous impression, before the wear in the lower left corner that Mannocci mentions for this state and with strong contrasts. Mannocci 39.
Lot n° 107
Etching, circa 1637. 139x198 mm; 5 1/2x7 7/8 inches, narrow to thread margins. Fifth state (A) (of 7), before the curved scratch in the sky upper center. A very good, well-inked impression of this scarce etching.

Etching, 1635. 352x462 mm; 13 7/8x18 1/4 inches. Fifth state (of 5). Trimmed on or just inside the plate mark with the legend in the lower margin preserved. A very good impression of this important etching. Lieure 1416.
Complete set of 24 etchings, 1631. Each approximately 73x95 mm; 3x3 3/4 inches. Each in the first state (of 3, for the frontsipiece) and first state (of 2, for the additional 23 etchings). Each with thread margins or trimmed on the plate mark. Brilliant, richly-inked and early impressions of this very scarce complete set of etchings.

Meaume 104-119, Lieure 1297, 1298-1299 II, 1300-1302, 1304-1312 jeweils II (von III). Wz. Gekröntes Wappen mit Posthorn (Fragment).

Etching, 1632. 296x173 mm; 11 3/4x6 3/4 inches, thread margins. Fourth state (of 5), with the address lower right and the additional shading, but before the wear on the faces. A very good, richly-inked, early impression of this exceedingly scarce etching.
We have found only 2 other early impressions at auction in the past 30 years.

Etching. 467x203 mm; 18 1/2x8 inches, small margins 3 sides, trimmed on the plate mark lower edge.Second state (of 3), before the address of Le Blond. Bunch of grapes watermark (Griffiths/Hartley 3, which they specify for second state impressions of this subject). A superb, richly-inked and early, proof-like impression of this extremely scarce etching.
We have found only 7 other impressions of this subject at auction in the past 30 years; only 3 were in the second state. Griffiths/Hartley 38.
