État: The canvas is lined and stable on its stretcher. The paint surface is stable, but there is a visible pattern of craquelure throughout. Some retouching to address this pattern is visible, some strokes of which have discolored. Inspection under UV reveals a varnish that fluoresces unevenly, particularly in the lower register. In addition to the aforementioned touches, there are scattered strokes here and there in the figures and foliage. Some more concentrated strokes of retouching and strengthening in the building at left, for example in the roof. There may be an older campaign of restoration beneath the varnish, but this is difficult to discern. Overall fair condition
