Original etching with aquatint by Eugène Decisy, signed Decisy in the plate. Printed on cream wove paper. Published by L'Artiste. Ref: Sanchez & Seydoux 1895-2 (S&S list this etching as printed on laid paper, but ours is on wove). The etching is in lovely condition, but the outer edges of the sheet have darkened where not protected by a tissue guard. This is only a cause for concern on the right margin, where this darkening comes close to the plate mark, meaning it would be sensible to close-mount this stunning print.
