(circa 1638-41). 13.1 x 18.1 cm (plate); 19.8 x 23.6 (sheet).A very fine, richly-inked, early impression of this very scarce etching with strong contrasts and partially inky plate edges; with the number 12 lower left, before the diagonal scratch across the distant mountains. Wide margins. – Mount staining in the corners, on the left margin with a brown line. A postmark on verso on the mounting strip, otherwise in good condition.
