Of architectural form, with tufted red-velvet interior, the sides with recessed niches flanked by columns and enclosing 'jeweled’ vases, draped overall with floral garlands, the front and reverse centered by groups of putti, the angles set with figures of a tiger, a lion, a wild boar and a bear, respectively, over a molded border applied to each side with the monogram FPO for Ferdinand-Philippe, duc d’Orléans
